Respect and Discipline:

Respect and discipline are tradition and custom at Euroclass Visionary Academy. Respect is a reciprocal behaviour and not a merit while discipline is an act of proper behaviour. These are part of our DNA and must be adhered to by all individuals that are part of our institution,.In other to ensure that our tradition and custom cannot be overridden for any personal interest or otherwise. we have introduced some range of disciplinary guidelines bellow.

Time management: 

Time is our greatest enemy and must be defeated by adapting European culture opposed to African culture. We will be predominantly working with European time to demonstrate whom we are. This entails that every appointment must be punctually attended, as 5 minutes late will not be acceptable for whatever reasons.

What Parents and Pupils should know?

(1) Our gate closes 10 minutes before the first lesson. It will be unfair to distract other pupils’ attention because of your lateness, therefore, you are advised to drop off your child on time please.

(2) Lessons resumes 3 minutes after each break, to allow pupils to settle down.

(3) Our gate opens 5 minutes after school closing time to allow parents for picking up.

(4) Physical or verbal abuse of any sort towards fellow pupil is prohibited.

(5) Fighting is not tolerated, and any such act will be taken seriously.

(6) Stealing is prohibited, and the offender will be seriously disciplined by the school management. Possibly expulsion

 

What Parents/caregivers should know:

(1) Ensure your child gets ready for school in time to avoid rush.

(2) Dress your child properly and smart to school.

(3) Make sure your child has all that is needed in school for the day.

(4) It is important to get your child to school before our gate closes.

(5), our gate closes 10 minutes before the first lesson, i.e. assembly. 

(6)  If for any reason of running late, evidence must be provided, e.g. doctors prove, etc.

(7) Pick your child up on time to avoid negligence.

(8) You are advised to invest 15 minutes every day to read with your child, as it will impact his/her development positively.

(9) We will be having an annual award for the most intelligent, best dressed, best behaved and best attendance pupils with a price cheque.

(10) You will be invited to evaluate and discuss your child’s development academically and otherwise from time to time.

(11) We will not entertain abuse of any sort towards our staff instead, the staff should be reported to the school management.

(12) Please be aware that we operate on first come first served, we do not practice ''I know you''

 

What staffs should know:

(1) Staff must be on time latest (7:15am) to execute their duties accordingly.

(2) Staff should treat pupils equally, with respect and dignity.

(3) Abuse or physical torture is not accepted regardless of whatsoever.

(4) Staff reserves the right to discipline pupil for any wrongdoing in a manner deemed appropriate by the school authority.

(5) Staffs should show their utmost care towards the pupils to ensure their needs are meet.

(6) Stealing is prohibited, and any such act will be reported to the police.

(7) We will be having an annual award fo the best teacher and best staff.
